

Safe Harbor operates a winter shelter from December 1 to March 31 each year. We offer all members of the day program access to basic needs services, case management, and referrals to other community services and organizations. Last year we served over 57,000 meals between the day program and Safe Harbor residents. Safe Harbor also operates a Daytime Drop-In Program that is open Monday-Friday at noon. Each of those individuals is provided with an in-house case manager. Housed in a two-story building on Bushkill Drive in Easton, the shelter has the capacity to house 50 individuals. Safe Harbor Norton is staffed by a qualified, experienced on-site Resident Manager and 2-3 Peer Supervisors, consists of a single-family home, a duplex, a small cottage home, and a 10-unit.

For this reason, Safe Harbor’s programming and individualized approach to case management integrated restorative practices with a holistic view of self-recovery. Safe Harbor Norton, an Ohio nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe, sober living environment to those who suffer from alcoholism or addiction. Safe Harbor believes that in building lifelong success, a stable foundation comes first and foremost. It is also a drop-in program for low-income adults, particularly those who have difficulty with the tasks of daily life. Safe Harbor Easton is a program-driven, transitional shelter for homeless, single individuals.
